About Your Insurance Company:
Many of our patients have questions about their dental insurance. We want you to understand that we are always happy to help you file your claims for benefits, and that we will investigate any question you may have to help you find an answer regarding your dental insurance. However, please understand that we have never been, are not now and will never be part of any kind of dental services provider network. We choose to dedicate our time to taking care of your oral healthcare needs, not fight about whether or not you can have the treatment you need with your insurance company -- so, we do not have any kind of contract with them. This means that, whatever your insurance company doesn't pay is your responsibility. Some insurance companies are great, and they pay a great portion of whatever services are provided. Other insurance companies don't pay as well. The amount they pay is based on a contract between the insurance company and your employer. If you are unhappy with the amount that they pay, we urge you to contact your human resources department and complain to them. They are the ones who can effect changes to your company's annual contract with your insurance company. We have nothing to do with that, which allows us to concentrate on what is most important to us -- YOU and your family's oral health!
